Finally some new has come in for cast for the New Reboot of resident evil which will make Fans of the franchise happy.
Especially since the previous film have stray from its original storyline and mixed the film which some people loved but other hated, the long awaited Reboot was mention just after the final chapter film finished.
Its been awhile since we have heard anything about the Reboot other than the TV Animated series coming to Netflix, We final hear that they have start casting for the reboot and its good news for resident evil fans.
Jill Valentine and Claire Redfield has been cast to appear in the new reboot, British actress Kaya Scodelario (Maze Runner) will star as Redfield and Ant-Man and The Wasp's Hannah-John Kamen has been cast as jill valentine.
Roberts made a statement teasing his "terrifying vision" for the reboot, while producer Robert Kulzer revealed that the movie will be set in Raccoon City in 1998. This is what the director had to say.
"With this movie I really wanted to go back to the original first two games and recreate the terrifying visceral experience I had when I first played them whilst at the same time telling a grounded human story about a small dying American town that feels both relatable and relevant to today’s audiences - Roberts

This will please fan of the original have its set in the mansion itself.
There has also been other casting for those reboot with some formula names Robbie Amell has been casted as Chris Redfield, Tom Hopper been cast as Albert Wesker, Avan Jogia has been casted as Leon S. Kennedy, Neal McDonough as William Birkin.

Good thing as well as this director Roberts' experience in atmospheric horror films, rather than action, pointing to the fact that the movie should be pretty terrifying and dark which is what fans wanted.
The Resident Evil reboot is set to be released in theaters some time in 2021, hinting that production will start soon.
